Taylor Momsen - thigh highs and bad extensions
All I want to say is that I don’t like Taylor Momsen’s new courtney love look. This picture was taken during New York Fashion Week. She’s somehow trashing it up even more with her teenybopperness and horrible extensions. I do love her though. She’s a decent young actor, has a skinny long modelesque physique and a better singing voice than Miley Cyrus and Hillary Duff put together, but someone needs to fire her stylish or hire her one, in case these tacky creations are her own.
This single of hers that I found on youtube is not so bad however. As I said, not a terrible singing voice.

I just haaad to post this, I’m salivating over this dress! wow. Various shades of grey and black, that’s pretty much my standard everyday outfit & colours rolled up into this gorgeous dress. I couldn’t conceptualize anything that sums up all my favorite things into a dress.

OK, first of all, I must say that Herve Leger is BLOWING UP! His bandage dresses are one everyone, from Lindsay Lohan, to Kim Kardashian and even Canadian VJ Leah Miller on the So You Think You can dance Canada version (the stunning red dress she was wearing on the last episode that I got a chance to see when I was in Toronto over the last weekend).
I was instantly obsessed with the cut-put dress that Blake Lively wore in Gossip Girl in the episode where Serena’s character wanted to have a 3 people date with Dan and his nerdy new love interest earlier on in the season.

So from Red Carpet Fashion, I found out that Herve Leger dresses are supposed to contour and shape your body strategically to make you look hotter. I would say yes it works.
My closest encounter with Leger was ‘touching’ one of his bandage dresses at a small boutique in Chicago’s Buck Town neighbourhood. Hehe. The dress was entirely silvery gray, like the gray in Serena’s dress above and it felt really heavy and coarse. I expected it to be light and shiny and a spandexy material, but instead it really did feel like giant elastic bandages stictched together. It looked plain on the rack but I’m sure it would have looked smoking hot if I had had the guts to try it on, in its nearly $2000 glory.
I could not have summed up the current love that Herve Leger is feeling better than this article by Red Carpet Fashion Awards: http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2007/10/celebrities-loveherve-leger.html

After staying very late at work last night, as I walked out onto the cold cobble stoned streets of DUMBO, I was very pleasantly surprised to see the the Gossip Girl crew was still filming in the neighbourhood. They were filming inside Foragers Market on Front St. The windows were covered in a white film with very bright lights shining on them from the outside, and upon asking the technical crew, we found out that this was done in order to make it look like it was day time inside the store.
I was not going to miss another photo-op on set of Gossip Girl, so I ran up and had my pic taken in front of Foragers. See the evidence of my stalkerazzi below:

Hot-pesh (or should I say Gossip Boy) on set of GG
