(London) I’ve been spotting two major trends on the streets of London this winter. The first is the Russian Fur hat and the second is pleated chiffon below-the-knee skirts. The fur hats are available year round and year over year at flea markets and vintage shops but their popularity sky-rocketed this winter. I’ve seen girls wearing them over biker jackets, capes, trench coats, shearling and the hat complements each and every outerwear type.
If you are wondering how to wear Russian fur hats, just let your hair down and throw on the hat. It will steal all the attention anyway so you don’t have to worry about much else. Wear it casually or in a formal setting because this season, it goes anywhere and everywhere.
Where to buy yourself one of these furry accessories? You can pick up faux fur Russian hats at Asos.com for £15 or head to your closest vintage store or flea market and hunt for clean real fur hat which will cost between £20-£30.
Isy, who is becoming quite popular in our Streetstyle section, was spotted in a fox fur Russian hat near Oxford Circus in London.

I swung by Urban Outfitters over the weekend and saw this cute little necklace that instantly caught my eye.
I’d been looking for a skinny gold chain necklace for a while and this cute little block letter pendant was love at first sight and I snapped it up right away. Currently sold out on UrbanOutfitters.com, you can try visiting the actual stores to find one with your initials. As of the past weekend, the stores are stocked with plenty!
I have been a HUGE fan of Zigi NY shoes for years! If you need proof, just check out my declarations of love to the brand here and here. The Spring/Summer 2011 collection by Zigi was previewed at Ace Hotel in New York City yesterday and I got a special treat of checking it out in person. The fabulous press reps for the brand generously gave me a parting gift from Zigi’s newest venture, Ziginy Blacklabel, which is at the highest end of the label’s offerings. I received a bracelet/leather studded cuff from the new line of accessories Zigi is launching, which I have to admit is pretty rockstar and I’m loving it. The rest of the accessories collection is definitely noteworthy. Keep an eye out for my distillation of the whole new collection and in the mean time, check out this lovely studded cuff.
When it comes to accessories, Fendi is one of those Italian fashion houses that can keep up with French mega brands like Chloe and Chanel. This season, Fendi got a lot of buzz for the billowy pants and blouses and primary colors that were seen during the Spring shows. The clothes were elegant as always but what really caught my eye were the gorgeous colorful obi belts that accessorized the clothes. Here are the boldest and brightest belts to come down the runway and how they were paired with the collection.

Yes, it is one of the hottest days of the year here in New York, but since Fall’s collections are already starting to show up in our favorite stores, I couldn’t resist announcing my favorite fall accessory to have come down the catwalks at the couture fashion shows in Paris this week.
