Fashion’s Night Out 2012 Recap
(London) I attended Fashion’s Night Out for the 4th year in a row last night. I haven’t missed a single one yet and am so happy for it. The first two years were in New York and the last two have been in London. Even if I moved to Dhaka, I’d organize some crazy FNO events there just so I wont miss it. I’m a big fan needless to say. Here is a quick recap of my evening as documented on my Instagram and Twitter as well my Canon 600D.
Starting the night off with a handy printout of a customised Google Map that I liberally wrote all over.
First stop:
Roland Mouret with beautiful models showing off the merchandise on sale, champagne and delicious cake pops.
Second stop:
Christian Louboutin store on Mount Street. There was man at the door as well as what looked like a PR girl with clipboards limiting access to the store. My friend Kristi and I certainly weren’t on the list but upon asking, the nice man let us in straight away and one of the hostesses inside greeted us with Martini cocktails and a friendly smile.
On the way from Christian Louboutin…
…to Old Bond Street where the main action was happening, we popped into Lanvin to hang out in the balloon decorated and champagne sizzled shop. There was a label wall where we had an impromptu photo session including a photographer taking polaroids of guests to give as souvenirs.
After Lanvin…
…we popped into Longchamps to see Jameela Jamil DJ.
The Legend Lives On!
By this point we were well content to just browse the street all the way down to Alexander McQueen which was not very welcoming to passersby but either way, we had a great time and the Stylester + Fashion’s Night Out legend lives on.
