(London) What are the two things that come to your mind when you think about British outerwear? I’m willing to bet you thought of firstly, the quintessential trench coat and then the cape. Having invested in this gorgeous trench coat by Rachel Rachel Roy last spring and checking that off the list, I completed my British outerwear ensemble with this hooded cape from Monsoon.

The cape has become a staple in my wardrobe this Autumn and since I wear it nearly everyday anyway, I will be posting the ensembles and combinations that go well with the hooded cape. Keep an eye out for Cape Britain Parts 2 to 5!
