My BFF from Toronto came to visit me in NYC a couple of weekends ago and blessed me with her party-ing superstar ways. It was awesome to have her in my new home in NYC… she definitely brought back some of the hometown that I sometimes miss about Toronto. We caught up on life, growing up, boys, and most of all partying! We took TONS of photos but somehow lost my camera somewhere in the middle of things so to reminess and remember our fun nights out, I tried to re-capture our outfits from each night.
On my way back from Toronto the weekend before last, I was luckily seated by the emergency exit on my flight. It was good because 1. I got tons of leg room, & 2. I got my own little TV that popped out of my armrest.
So, on top of being happy to be returning home I got overly excited about my secret armrest TV and made the suave interior decorator/architect young guy beside me to take a picture of my little screen! (I think he was an interior decorator because he was making these cool 3D rooms on his laptop.)
Yes, geeky, but I just had to share my joy with all my blog-readers!
Air Canada Emergency Exit Seat TV - Toronto to New York
Through the wonderful world of Twitter, I discovered the newest love of my life: the rock band Bury the Bully.
I was randomly “followed” on Twitter by the grace of the band’s marketing and word of mouth efforts, and what a pleasant surprise! I went on their website just because I saw that they are a Canadian band from a town close to my hometown of beautiful Toronto, and I am a very very loyal Canadian, as everyone who knows me will tell you. After being directed to their Myspace page and listening to the first song on the playlist, I was instantly addicted.
